Choanoke Area Development Association of NC, Inc., (CADA) seeks to contract with Housing Rehab Services Specialist to provide the following services in Bertie, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, and Northampton Counties for rehab programs funded by North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) and other grantors. Contracted services include but are not limited to initial inspection, work write-ups, cost estimates, preconstruction meetings, periodic inspections of the rehab work, final inspection and collection of lien waivers. Interested persons must have certifications such as Licensed Building Contractor, Home Inspector, FEMA certified inspector, or experience as a county/town building inspector or a superintendent/manager for rehab developments.
A Public Hearing has been scheduled for April 13, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the CADA Administration Office, 120 Sessoms Drive, Rich Square, North Carolina to review the current Housing Choice Voucher Program PHA Plan. Choanoke Area Development Association of NC, Inc. (CADA) has received funding from the US Department of Energy and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency to weatherize homes and rehabilitate the homes of eligible residents in Bertie, Edgecombe, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, and Northampton Counties. CADA seeks local contractors in the following trades to implement weatherization standard measures: ECT’s, HVAC’s, Electricians, Plumbers, Insulation, and Incidental Repairs.
