CADA Housing Choice Voucher Program PHA Annual Plan
Information For Tenants
CADA administers The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) which is a federally funded program that assists the very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled with affordable decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market.
The Housing Choice Voucher Program not only provides rental assistance -- it is and can be a rewarding program for enthusiastic participants who are interested in achieving homeownership. CADA offers the HCVP program participant an opportunity to become self-sufficient for those who are self-motivated and determine to their very own a home while participating in the program.
For families that are interested in applying, our waiting list, unfortunately, is closed at this time, however, our agency will make a public announcement in the local newspaper that will provide the date and time of the opening of the waitlist.
CADA is seeking landlords who are enthusiastic about helping others. The Housing Choice Voucher Program is looking for landlords who are interested in participating in an outstanding and worthwhile program.
The landlord's obligation is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing at reasonable cost to eligible families. To insure that properties are in compliance, an annual inspection will be conducted by the housing agency for the aforementioned purpose.
CADA will submit payments for properties that are in compliance and occupied by eligible participants.
